"Mother" Meera and the Vishwananda connection!

November update below as well as updates for Oct/August/June2010:
.
This has been quite a revelation. I'm sure that followers of 'swami' Vishwananda will acknowledge his visits to "Mother" Meera which has been spoken about. The connection between them has proved to be more suspicious however.....perhaps no accident on their respective centres being based in Germany.

While Ammachi's (Mata Amritanandamayi) view of Vishwananda may appear contradictory as like Sai Baba, she appeared to support him when he was younger, Meera has apparently remained 'silent' (no pun intended) on the subject altogether. A startling connection with probable sexual undertones has come to light about Visham's connection to Meera and it really deserves some indepth consideration along with the unavoidable sensationalist view.

Details will be highlighted.

Something very bizarre came to light recently - apparently Vishwananda's physical heart is slightly smaller than the 'normal' heart which is a fascinating concept for many reasons! If you know of further information, this would be appreciated.

This may seem slightly off the topic but was directed to put this down as something vital to consider. Animals signify spiritual potential e.g dog, cat, bird - preference for an animal would indicate levels of spiritiality - the Dog (God backwards) is the cue for yoga. Dislike for dogs may indicate a problem on the yogic path. One way to test the depth of a 'spiritual being' is to observe the preferred animal choice.
To receive the divine soul cue from source, a visit to Sai Baba's physical presence in Puttarparthi is necessary. A strong Shive cue comes on Shivarathri or at the Sai Whitefield ashram, and would advise you make this visit to either of the ashrams as soon as possible if you have been to see any suspicious yogi.

It is now possible to update on the 'Mother' Meera / Vishwananda connection. Vishwananda as many of you may know is a 'mal'-practioner of tantra. Sexual practices and tantra are two sides of the same coin. Tantric yoga can only be truly practised for a purpose by an enlightened being, where non-attachment to the worldly life is second nature. If this is not the case, tantra can lead you into potentially detimental avenues.
Meera being a supporter of Vishwananda, by implication would support his practices.......will update further.

.
It is very important that those people who have any awareness of the likes of Vishwananda etc come forward with their knowledge so that others may benefit, unless of course you have had a particularly stressful personal experience which may make things difficult to talk about. Even in such a situation, opening up to people may be very helpful to yourself and others.
.
'Mother' Meera is in empathy with Yogananda, which probably is the key behind her support of Vishwananda. This is something that I find difficult to understand as 'mother' Meera's background has been connected to Sri Aurobindo. There has been no obvious connection between Sri Aurobindo and Yogananda except that they lived in about the same period and both were familiar with Indian politics at the time; Sri Aurobindo in particular who was comparatively quite vocal in this respect. While Yogananda looked up to M.K Gandhi, Sri Aurobindo viewed Gandhi and his ideologies more critically. Where 'mother' Meera fits into this kind of scenario is beyond me!?
.
Vishwananda's socio/political awareness can be safely seen as arbitrary at the very least. It is very unclear what his supporters' specific ideologies are, including 'mother' Meera. Once again a comparison has to be made to Sai Baba, who actively encourages spirituality in all aspects of life; politics is no exception; everything is co-dependent.
.
So this connection between Vishwananda and Meera is a very strange one. How are they both personally benefitting by supporting each other!? A tantric mal-practitioning 'swami and a 'so-called' divine mother' is a disturbing alliance. Please consider this very seriously.

.
So what's happening with Vishwananda etc these days - is karma saying a significant 'hello'!? Has Vishwananda's Social Apartheid practice (i.e discriminating against others based on at least one social consideration) not worked for him?
.
A couple of questions - does Mauritian law require that everyone completes 'high shcool'? If so, how and why did Vishwananda leave school at the age of 14? If your basic education is not sound in comparison to your peers, how will you have sustained and sincere influence in the promotion of profound spiritual instruction consistent with Yoga?
.
Speaking of social apartheid, it interesting to know that Yogananda did touch Gandhi's feet, as recalled in 'Autobiography of a yogi':

November 2010
.
Please note that every 'swami' or 'guru' associated with Vishwananda and/or Meera support them for who they really are i.e. not the benign, spiritual beings that they project themselves as. Sathya Sai Baba for example however, discourages pursuit of 'Kriya' yoga and is not known to encourage tantric practices - if you move down such a road not fully prepared, you will certainly experience great challenges.
.
If you have heard various stories about 'role-players' regarding these false 'gurus' etc, this is yet another manipulative ploy on their parts to sway you of your personal connection to God. If you have also been told to believe that you are 'God' without being told and demonstrated who 'God' really is, then you are inviting trouble for yourself if you have accepted such a thing - self realisation is the result of both profound spiritual knowledge and release of the 'ego'. We all chose to come here as part of our spiritual journey - only God can fully play a role for some purpose.
.
.
It should be noted that the author of the blogside (below), Suven, is seen as an arch-enemy by the 'self-proclaimed gurus', (Sathya Sai Baba being their primary arch enemy):

Look, what do you mean or are you insinuating with such a formulation? I am a Mother Meera devotee, and have been present at all of Vishwanandas vists to her, and he never (!) saw her one to one, only in the public group at Darshan. All else must be your phantasy. The way you phrase this is basically insidous. So please stop talking trash, unless you have to say something clearly.

If you would like to read more information about the issues and untruths related to Swami Vishwananda, there is an active blog with many peoples' stories at:

To the first comment 'Trinity' - you have actually done us a favour by confirming Vishwananda's association with Meera as someone present at his visits to her.

Our aim is to stop people getting hurt - gurus, whether sincere or otherwise can take care of themselves.
Ordinary people may get severely hurt and may not know how to protect themselves - any information published here has come from sources directly targetted by these would-be gurus. There has proven to be a severe lack of compassion with people who have been targetted and too much attempt to protect the guru's self image. This is unacceptable.

Second comment - yes very informative blogsite.

I have no obejction if you reveal things that have some substance and are actually reported by people. But gossip mongering and mere phantasizing about 'sexual undertones' and a 'relationship' and 'unavoidable sensationalist view'is clearly different from what you are stating above. You are just making things up about a connection. The truth is, Vishwananda visited Mother Meeras darshan a few times, like ANYBODY can do, was registered just like everybody, Guru or not Guru. This doesn't mean anything in terms of acknowledgement by Mother Meera etc. You, Sheen, can also visit Mother Meera, but it doesn't mean we acknowledge what you say about yourself. To interpret anything more into this is basically vicious and undermines your own effort to be taken serious in what you actually have to say.

My opinion Trinity is that you sound too defensive.
I personally have respect for Sai Baba but nonetheless I will stop short at humouring Sai devotees for a failure in objective reasoning. If a problem comes up regarding any Guru, then it has to heard objectively and that is what I do based on anything that comes to my attention.
I am also aware that Vishwananda has distanced himself from Sai Baba (as by deduction Meera as well) hence they will not deserve my respect as Sai Baba remains the foremost spiritual authority.

A person who has been hurt will not be comfortable speaking to you as they are liable to be unfairly critisised and branded in a certain light. The blog will be updated soon with information that has come to my attention from source that I know to be fully reliable.

I am not defensive. But until now you are only giving 'hints', that soon something will come out. The point I am making is that you say things in a clearly misleading way, without having the guts to spell things out.

When you have something concrete, I will research it and address it apropriately. However I may sound and what my motivation may be (for example to defend my Guru) doesn't take anything away from my argument.

And that is that there is no Mother Meera Vishwananda 'connection'. There have been devotees going back and forth, but Mother hasn't given him a private audience, nor talked to him in any way, nor did he seek this. He simply visited her on several occasions, as I pointed out. But you have to realize what you are actually saying. I quote you again. How should we interpret sentences, like:

' The connection between them has proved to be more suspicious however.....perhaps no accident on their respective centres being based in Germany.'
except that you try to insinuate things for which a factual basis does not exist. Nor will it be. I probably know more than your sources, whatever they may be. Do you actually know what you write when you say:

'A startling connection with probable sexual undertones has come to light about Visham's connection to Meera '?

I think you are trying to make up something, and just phantazise, and you don't want to be taken to task for it. (maybe hoping that nobody more knowledgeable than you will notice it)

How else I should interpret this, than a very mean-spirited and bad attemp at discreditinganother master who is not your own?

And if Sai Baba is your master, he clearly send many people to Mother Meera and only spoke good of Her. And so has She said good things about Sai Baba as well. So, what are you actually saying? There is clearly no competition between Mother Meera and Sai Baba. Get real.

Trinity, I do not know you and what your credentials are. You are merely a person who has chosen to comment on my page. While I value most comments, I will not tolerate those who are attemting to sway peoples minds without choosing to read through all my blog pages, links etc and at least attempt to comment with a hint of respect to the blog author. If you do not like this blogsite - avoid reading it! If you continue to throw character accusations without any awareness of my background or at the very least the blog pages, then I will have no option but to delete your comments.

You are an unknown person to me, other that having looked at your page and by the same token I can also throw character accusations on you if I don't like what you say.

If you have read my pages you will know that Sai Baba does not endorse Vishwananda, hence Meera's connection to him is unacceptable to those who know of Visham's gross malpracticve.

I suggest you refrain from commenting until I have the time to update my site properly and you should know that my site is primarily directed to those who have had or may have challenging encounters with these so-called gurus, not those who endorse them.

Dear Sheen,

I may have looked at your blog before, and i am not trying to make an accessment about you, nor do I want to hurt you or insult you, sorry if I did. All i am commenting at is this particular article and what you say in it. I am only commenting on the words you gave. With regard to the supposed Vishwananda - Mother Meera 'connection', there is none, its as simple as that. Mother does not have a connection to him, nor endorse him, she simply does not comment on him.

It seems to me that this is the problem you have with her, that she simply refrains to get into the picture here, while your standpoint seems to be, if she is not for him, she is against him, or rather the reverse of it, who is not against him, must be for him.

Now, I think you don't have to know me, nor do I have to know you, we should simply be able to discuss on the basis of what is actually said. For example, if you say things in a way, that can easily be misunderstood, maybe you should correct and think about how to formulate things. i think that I was fairly clear in what my point is, and I haven't received anything form your answer, which is actually to the point. You insinuate things for which there is no testimony, which is pure speculation, and as such as ridiculus as it can be! Read your own words. Its clear.

Remember I respect Sai Baba, but that will not stop me from putting forward any information that may come forth as questionable. Hence it will follow that 'gurus' that I cannot vouch for will come under even more scrutiny if necessary.

As said before, you will have to wait until I have the time to update my blog - currently am getting all the information together and should be done by the end of this month.

Actually a message was received stating that Vishwananda has been instrumental in getting some blogs deleted - the 'tell the truth' blogsite is the main one it seems.

Thank you for sharing the websites.

Thank you for your information. However, the inference that Mother Meera is having a suspicious or sexual relationship with the Swami is pure and utter rubbish. I am a devotee of Mother Meera, who is a benign being. In any event, this continual vilification does not take into consideration the astounding growth experienced by devotees such as myself.

The fact is, those who have never had a spiritual epiphany cannot understand what one is talking about. But rather than shutting up, and respecting those experiences, sceptics take it upon themselves to be judge and jury. The fact that gurus are also "human" seems to irritate. How dare Swamis have feelings or needs. How scandalous!

Mother Meera is human; she is married to a German, she is also a down to earth lady; she has built a school in India and has helped thousands not just spiritually but with financial support.

Short sighted misinformation, presumption and gossip in its worst possible form amounts to pure vilification and is not going to change people's love for their spiritual teacher. When you fall in love, and I hoped it happened to you, you did not put love under a microscope to prove it. You just felt its truth. A relationship with a spiritual teacher is somewhat similar. They inspire the heart. Of course I am not expecting you to "get" this. But I would ask you to temper your vilification a tad. Thank you..

By the way, I checked the blogs you cited, and few came up. They appear to no longer be online. If as you say the Swami is dishonest, I do not see how his connection to Mother Meera infers she is dishonest also. Mother Meera would never reject him, she does not reject anyone. She is not judgemental, even though she has been accused countless times by angry ex followers, and sceptics she has never fought back, she just gets on with it. If he visited her, therefore, she would treat him with honour whatever he has done. She is the most tolerant person I know.

I appreciate your need to "expose" the lies, but I feel your quest for "justice" is more a personal mission. Good luck to you, I hope you prove your point, but I for one will never deny the beauty and love Mother Meera has gifted me with. This is my last comment
